WHAT IS FRACTIONAL RF MICRONEEDLING?

Microneedling with Radiofrequency is a top nonsurgical treatment to soften, fade and reduce stretch marks and scars found practically anywhere on the body. RF Microneedling results in a smoother, more even appearance to the surface of the skin. Specifically, it induces collagen and elastin production at multiple layers of the skin. HOW DOES LUXE SCULPT RF MICRO NEEDLING WORK?

Microneedling
A Microneedling device holds a network of super fine needles. During the procedure, it makes controlled micro injury at customizable depths on the surface of the skin. 

Radiofrequency

Radiofrequency uses bipolar RF energy at a specific wavelength, which gently heats the deeper layers of the skin. 

But the real magic happens when the two treatments are used in tandem. Specifically, the microneedles create discrete channels at controlled depths in the skin. It’s these channels that allow the RF energy to penetrate to the skin in a more targeted way than it could on its own. As a result, it reaches deeper layers more effectively and efficiently to:

• maximize collagen and elastin production in the treatment area, while 
• minimizing injury to the surface of the skin that can be caused by other scarring treatments. (For example, a laser will disperse more energy along the surface of the skin, precisely because it lacks microneedle channels to reach under the skin.)

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

For optimal results recommend 3-5 treatments, 4 weeks apart.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

While you’ll probably notice that your skin is a bit firmer and fuller as soon as you walk out of an RF skin tightening treatment, most clients need more than one session to see real results. Since new collagen growth doesn’t happen immediately after RF Needling, neither do the results. Your skin will gradually become tighter for up to six months after your session.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

The visible results of any skin treatment vary from person to person. RF Skin Needling works by stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin, so the results are ongoing.

WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL LIKE?

Clients may notice a warm sensation and a pricking feeling during the treatment, but it is not typically painful. Numbing cream can be applied if necessary.
